In Lviv, on Viytovycha Street, a fire broke out in a wooden outbuilding attached to a residential house. Thanks to the prompt actions of the firefighters, the flames did not spread to the living quarters.
The report of the fire reached the Rescue Service “101” on 25 September at 21:37. When the firefighters arrived at the scene, the outbuilding was already completely engulfed in flames and there was a real risk that the house would catch fire.
The firefighters immediately began extinguishing the blaze. By 21:53 the fire had been contained, and at 22:22 it was fully extinguished. The flames destroyed the outbuilding over an area of 9 sq. m and damaged a wooden window of the residential house.
Ten firefighters and two specialist vehicles were deployed to tackle the blaze. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
The cause of the fire is being established by law enforcement agencies.
