In Lviv, police filed a protocol against the parents of a student who dispersed pepper spray in the premises of a lyceum. Law enforcement officers urge parents and teachers to conduct preventive conversations with children, explain the inadmissibility of such actions, inform them about the health consequences of gas exposure for others, and about the responsibility provided for such offenses. This was reported by MVS.LVIV.

Today, February 25, around 2:00 PM, a report was received on emergency line 102 about a 15-year-old student who dispersed pepper spray in the men’s restroom of one of Lviv’s lyceums. Emergency medical doctors examined four people – three students and a janitor, who were in the affected zone. No physical injuries were found, and they were released home after examination.

At the scene, operatives of the criminal police, investigators, and juvenile prevention officers of Police Department No. 2 of Lviv Regional Police Department No. 2 were working. An administrative protocol was drawn up on the student’s parents by an officer of the Educational Security Service of the Patrol Police Department in Lviv region under Article 184 (Failure of parents or persons substituting them to fulfill child-rearing duties) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine.
