In Lviv, investigators informed two criminals about the suspicion of robbing a passerby

We remind you that in the conditions of martial law, maximum punishments are provided for committing theft, robbery, robbery, extortion, as well as for misappropriation, waste of property or possession of it by abuse of official position.

As the law enforcement officers established, on April 1 at around 2 p.m. on Zubrivska Street in Lviv, unknown assailants attacked a passer-by, a 60-year-old man from Lviv, inflicted bodily injuries, took possession of his property, and then fled.

Detectives of the criminal police, investigators and employees of other divisions of police department No. 2 of Lviv district police department No. 2 were involved in solving the crime.

The law enforcement officers conducted a complex of operative and investigative measures, studied the recordings of video surveillance cameras and established that two Lviv residents aged 19 and 21, who had previously been criminally charged, were involved in the crime.

On April 4, investigators of the territorial division of the police, under the procedural guidance of the Frankiv District Prosecutor’s Office, informed the perpetrators of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 4 of Article 186 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of seven to ten years.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
