A court in Lviv is currently reviewing the case of a doctor accused of causing the death of a five-year-old boy during a dental procedure at a private clinic.
During the recent hearing, the defense filed a motion to suspend the criminal proceedings, citing the defendant’s mobilization.
The prosecution strongly opposed this motion and submitted a request to change the preventive measure from house arrest to pre-trial detention. Additionally, the prosecutors expressed their objection to suspending the trial, emphasizing the need for continued legal proceedings.
To ensure the consideration of the motion regarding the change of preventive measure, the prosecution also filed a request for permission to detain the doctor and bring her to court.
