According to the decision of the Halytskyi District Court of Lviv, he will be held in custody for another 60 days without the possibility of bail.
As reported, on 19 July in Lviv, an attacker shot at public activist Iryna Farion. Doctors hospitalised the woman with a head wound, but she died a few hours later.
On 25 July, law enforcement officers detained the suspect in Dnipro city and served him a notice of suspicion of committing a criminal offence under Part 1 of Article 115 (Murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of seven to fifteen years. Since then, the suspect has been in custody for the duration of the pre-trial investigation.
Today, on 13 November, the court decided to extend the measure of restraint – the man will be held in custody for another 60 days without the possibility of bail.
