In Lviv, a Dealer Will Stand Trial for Drug Trafficking and Drug Den

In Lviv, a 29-year-old resident will be tried for trafficking cocaine, MDMA, and maintaining a drug den.

He faces up to ten years in prison with confiscation of property for his actions. The perpetrator was exposed by operatives from the criminal police and investigators of the police department №1 of Lviv district management unit №1, under the procedural guidance of the Halytskyi district prosecutor’s office. Law enforcement documented instances of purchase and sale of the drug cocaine and the psychotropic substance MDMA. Additionally, it was established that he provided a rented premises in Lviv to drug-addicted individuals for the use of narcotics and psychotropics.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings, opened under part 2 of Article 307 (“Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment, or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and part 1 of Article 317 (“Organization or maintenance of places for the illegal use, production, or manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, has been completed. The indictment has been sent for trial. The maximum penalty the accused faces is imprisonment for up to ten years with confiscation of property.
