
Prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office have submitted to the court a case against a former state inspector who worked in the department for combating illegal trafficking of drugs and weapons. He is accused of demanding $15,000 for duty-free importation of products from well-known brands such as “Cartier”, “Van Cleef”, and “Hermes”.
According to the investigation, the former customs officer promised to facilitate the unhindered importation of these goods into Ukraine. The indictment has already been sent to the court for consideration.
