In Lviv, on Staroznesenska Street, a road traffic collision occurred in which three minibus passengers were injured. The incident took place on 29 June at around 18:00.
According to preliminary police information, a 66-year-old Lviv resident lost control of a Renault Traffic minibus, after which the vehicle veered onto the roadside and crashed into a fence.
As a result of the collision, three Renault passengers sustained bodily injuries – residents of Lviv aged 61, 63 and 66. All the injured were taken to hospital for medical treatment.
Investigators of Lviv District Police Department No.1 have opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of road traffic safety rules. The article provides for a penalty of up to three years’ restriction of liberty with disqualification from driving vehicles for the same period.
The police are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
