In Lviv, on Koliyivshchyna Square, police officers responded at night to a report of a suspicious person and found tablets on a man, believed to be of narcotic origin.
The call to the square came in yesterday at around midnight. At the scene, law enforcement officers discovered a 29-year-old man whose behaviour did not match the situation; he was unable to answer questions clearly.
During a cursory search, officers found several packets of tablets of unknown origin on the man. A investigative team was called to the scene and seized the physical evidence.
According to preliminary information, the seized tablets may contain the psychoactive substance MDMA (ecstasy). Experts are to provide a final conclusion after the relevant examinations.
