Rescuers removed 20 kg of mercury from a forest plantation in Lviv
On April 08, at 16:17, rescuers received a report that a man had found containers with mercury while walking in a forest plantation in Lviv.
During the survey, 4 units of closed containers with mercury were found.
The radiation, chemical and biological protection department of the emergency rescue unit of the special purpose emergency rescue detachment of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv Oblast seized 20 kg of mercury and handed it over to the Department of Emergency Situations and Civil Protection for further disposal.
