The traffic accident occurred on April 17, around 23.40, on Horodotska Street in Lviv.
As law enforcement officers have preliminarily established, a Nissan Teana driven by a 23-year-old resident of Lviv collided with an Audi e-tron driven by a 23-year-old resident of a village in Lviv district.
As a result of the accident, the drivers of both vehicles were injured and taken to medical facilities.
Investigators of the Police Department No. 1 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 opened criminal proceedings over the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of the rules of road safety) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the sanction of the article is restraint of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
