In Lviv, a cyclist was injured as a result of a truck collision – the police are establishing the circumstances of the incident
The traffic accident occurred on August 1 at 4:10 p.m. on Luhanska Street in Lviv.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the “Renault Premium” truck, a 51-year-old man from Lviv, hit a cyclist, a 30-year-old local resident.
As a result of the accident, the cyclist was injured and hospitalized.
According to the fact, the investigators of the territorial unit of the police of the Lviv region opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty stipulated by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
