The traffic accident occurred on September 15, around 3:40 p.m., at the intersection of Varshavska and Malogoloskivska streets in Lviv.
As previously determined by the law enforcement officers, a collision occurred between a Volkswagen Golf car driven by a 34-year-old resident of Lviv and a Kawasaki KLX 250 motorcycle driven by a 44-year-old resident of Lviv.
As a result of the accident, the motorcycle driver was injured and hospitalized.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Police Department No. 1 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty stipulated by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
