The traffic accident occurred on February 27, around 15:00, on Lychakivska Street in Lviv.
As law enforcement officers have preliminarily established, a Toyota Camry driven by a 26-year-old Lviv resident collided with a Yamaha motorcycle driven by a 36-year-old Lviv resident.
As a result of the accident, the motorcycle driver was injured and hospitalized.
Investigators of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 opened a criminal proceeding over the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of the rules of road safety) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the sanction of the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
