The traffic accident happened on November 22, around 10:20 a.m., on Chornovola Avenue in Lviv.
As the law enforcement officers established, there was a collision between a Daewoo Sens car driven by a 42-year-old resident of Lviv and an electric scooter driven by a 22-year-old resident of Rudno.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the electric scooter was injured and taken to a medical facility.
According to the fact, the investigators of the territorial unit of the police of Lviv Oblast opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty stipulated by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
