In Lviv, patrol officers stopped a Hyundai Kona car from the sunroof of which, while it was moving, two teenagers were peering out. The incident was reported by the Patrol Police of Lviv Region.
The officers noticed the offence while patrolling the city streets and immediately stopped the vehicle.
The driver was given a preventive talk about the inadmissibility of such actions and was held liable under Part 5 of Article 121 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences — breach of the rules on the use of seat belts.
The police stress that such entertainment can lead to serious consequences even due to sudden braking or a minor obstacle on the road, so drivers and passengers are advised to strictly comply with the Highway Code.
