In Lviv, a Tesla driver caused a crash on Liubinska Street and fled the scene

On Liubinska Street in Lviv, a road traffic collision occurred involving three vehicles. The driver of a Tesla, without braking, drove into two cars that were stopped at the traffic lights waiting for the green signal.

After the collision, the driver and passengers of the Tesla left the car and walked away from the scene. Patrol officers recorded the incident as a hit-and-run collision and passed the case to the department for tracing and processing road traffic collision materials. The fugitive’s car was towed to a special impound area.

Officers from the mentioned department identified the driver. It turned out to be a 48-year-old motorist who had already been disqualified from driving for 5 years for drink-driving.

Three administrative reports were drawn up against the man: for causing the collision, for fleeing the scene, and for driving a vehicle again while disqualified. Video footage from the cameras of the City Security Centre helped to document the circumstances of the incident.
