A motorcyclist was injured in Lviv following a collision with a car.
The traffic accident occurred on June 26, around 21:10, on Luhanska Street in Lviv. According to preliminary police reports, there was a collision between a Peugeot 207 driven by a 56-year-old Lviv resident and a Yamaha MT 09 motorcycle ridden by a 30-year-old Lviv resident. As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist sustained injuries and was hospitalized.
Investigators from Police Department No. 2 of Lviv District Police Department No. 2 have initiated criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 286 \”Violation of traffic safety rules\” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty under this article is imprisonment for up to three years, with a restriction on the right to drive vehicles for up to three years. Law enforcement officials are establishing the circumstances of the event.
