In Lviv a developer has reimbursed almost UAH 5 million in infrastructure contributions, which, according to law enforcement officers, had been unlawfully retained during the construction of a multi-storey residential building. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
Prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office filed a claim against a local developer to recover almost UAH 5 million in infrastructure contribution funds intended for the creation and development of the city’s engineering, transport and social infrastructure.
It was established that during the implementation of the construction project in Lviv, the developer had evaded payment of these funds. By the time the case was considered in court, the developer had voluntarily paid the full amount of the infrastructure contribution.
The Prosecutor’s Office notes that work to identify similar violations by other developers is ongoing, and representative measures are being taken to ensure proper revenues to the budget.
