In Lviv, a property developer has reimbursed over UAH 14 million in infrastructure contributions following a prosecutor’s claim

In Lviv, a local property developer has already paid over UAH 14 million in infrastructure contributions following the intervention of the prosecutor’s office. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

Prosecutors from the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office filed a claim against the developer to recover more than UAH 23 million in unjustifiably retained infrastructure contribution funds.

According to the prosecutor’s office, during the construction of a residential and office complex in Lviv, the developer evaded paying funds for the creation and development of the city’s engineering, transport and social infrastructure.

As of today, the developer has voluntarily transferred more than UAH 14 million to the budget even before the court has handed down its decision.

The prosecutor’s office notes that work in this area is ongoing: representative measures are being taken to identify similar violations by other developers and to ensure revenues to the budget.
