In Lviv, a developer voluntarily reimbursed over 2 million UAH that were unjustly retained from paying the development fee associated with the construction of a shopping and entertainment complex in the Frankivskyi District. This was made possible due to the active representative position of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office during the court hearing of the claim filed by the Frankivskyi District Prosecutor’s Office.
Prosecutors established that the developer was evading the payment of contributions intended for the creation and development of the city’s engineering, transport, and social infrastructure. This formed the basis for the lawsuit filed in court.
Work in this direction continues, with measures being taken to detect similar violations by other developers and ensure revenue to the budget.
