In Lviv, a fire broke out in a flat on Mechnikova Street. A report of the blaze reached rescuers today at 16:48.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, thick black smoke was billowing from the flat’s window. The fire involving household items over an area of 4 sq. m was contained at 17:01 and fully extinguished at 17:04.
The operation involved 2 units of specialised equipment and 9 rescuers, as well as a vehicle and personnel from the Lviv State University of Life Safety.
Experts are establishing the circumstances and causes of the fire.
