
In Lviv, police detained a man who attacked children trying to help him.
According to law enforcement, on July 12 around 5:00 PM on Koliina Street in Lviv, children saw a man in bloody clothes on the railway tracks. They offered to call the doctors, but the man reacted aggressively. He attacked a 12-year-old boy, and then his sister, inflicting several cuts with office scissors.
Fortunately, the children were able to escape and reported the incident to their parents, who contacted the police. Doctors diagnosed the girl with cuts and abrasions on her neck, after which she was released home.
The offender was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He was identified as a 31-year-old resident of Lviv, who was likely under the influence of drugs. He has been charged with hooliganism, which carries a penalty of three to seven years of imprisonment.
