A 28-year-old man was arrested in Lviv for distributing the narcotic substance cannabis to local residents. The drug dealer’s activities were uncovered and documented by operatives from the Lviv Directorate of the Department of Internal Security of the National Police of Ukraine in cooperation with Lviv investigators.
Law enforcement officers managed to arrest the suspect on 6 May under Article 615 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He was charged with violating Part 1 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for the distribution of narcotic substances.
The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention with the possibility of posting bail. The Prosecutor’s Office of the Lviv Region continues to provide procedural guidance in this case.
