In Lviv, police have detained a relative of a military officer for attempting to give a bribe.
The relative tried to negotiate with the deputy commander to avoid consequences for his brother. He offered $5,000 to avoid repercussions for unauthorized absence from the unit. “The detainee has now been charged, and the military officer has been returned to the military unit,” reports the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine.
