Accident in Lypnyky: Three People Injured

In the village of Lypnyky in the Lviv district on 16th May at approximately 16:10, a traffic accident occurred, resulting in the injuries of three individuals. A Tesla Model 3, driven by a 20-year-old resident of the city of Pustomyty, collided with a Ssang Yong Korando operated by a 64-year-old resident of Lypnyky.

As a result of the crash, the driver of the Ssang Yong Korando, his 61-year-old passenger, and an 8-year-old boy sustained bodily injuries. The victims were hospitalised, but the child was later released for outpatient treatment.

The law enforcement authorities of Lviv have initiated criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for imprisonment from three to eight years. The investigation is ongoing to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
