A road traffic accident occurred in Mykolaiv, resulting in injuries to two minors. This is significant as road safety concerns everyone. This was reported by the Lviv Region Police.
The accident happened on 23 March at around 18:20 in the city of Mykolaiv, Stryi district. According to preliminary data, a Yamaha MT 07 motorcycle, driven by a 15-year-old resident of the Stryi district, collided with a VAZ 2109 car driven by a 27-year-old resident of the same district.
As a result of the collision, the motorcycle driver and his passenger, also a 15-year-old resident of the Stryi district, sustained bodily injuries and were hospitalised. Investigators have opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for up to three years of restricted freedom with the deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for the same period.
Law enforcement officers continue to establish the circumstances of the incident.
