Grandmother and grandson who sold especially dangerous psychotropic substances in Novyi Rozdil are in the dock

Prosecutors of the Stryi District Prosecutor’s Office sent to court an indictment against a 75-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man. They are charged with illegal acquisition, storage with or without intent to sell and sale of a particularly dangerous psychotropic substance (Part 1 of Article 309, Part 2, 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

 

The investigation established that in the city of Novyi Rozdil, a grandmother and her grandson organised the illegal sale of a particularly dangerous psychotropic substance, PVP.

The “goods” were sold by prior arrangement with “customers”. Directly at a meeting in the apartment where the suspects lived.

In addition, at the place of residence of the group of people, a prohibited substance was found and seized, which they were keeping without the intention of selling for their own consumption, in particular by the man.

The pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Stryi Police Department No. 2 of the Main Department of the National Police in Lviv region.

Note: In accordance with Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person shall be presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until his or her guilt is proved by law and established by a court verdict of guilty.
