The Toyota passenger car arrived at the Rava Ruska checkpoint at night. A 42-year-old native of the capital and two passengers were traveling by car to a neighboring country.
During the control, one of the passengers reported that he was accompanying his father, who has the II disability group, across the border. However, the 36-year-old Ukrainian was unable to present all the necessary documents. The driver of the car tried to convince the border guards that he was crossing the border as a volunteer and entered into the “Path” system. However, after the inspection, two persons were refused to cross the border.
In order to get his way and leave Ukraine, one of the men tried to bribe the inspector. To the offer of a bribe in the amount of 2,000 euros, the border guard of the Lviv detachment responded with a refusal.
According to this fact, the employees of the State Border Service of the State Border Service informed the representatives of the National Police.
Liability for this offense is provided for in Art. 369 of the Criminal Code “Offer, promise or provision of an unlawful benefit to an official.”
The border guards handed the bribe-takers over to the National Police.
