A batch of electronic cigarettes, which was tried to be illegally imported into Ukraine, was discovered by border guards together with customs officials at the Ukrainian-Polish border.
According to operatives, the minibus was stopped for inspection at the Rava-Ruska checkpoint.
The 35-year-old driver of the Mercedes minibus was following the “green corridor” traffic lane. During the inspection of the car, inspectors found that, in addition to the passengers and their personal belongings, the native of Lviv tried to illegally move goods. During the inspection of the luggage compartment, border guards together with customs officials found electronic cigarettes of various names in the amount of 1,200 pcs.
According to this fact, the customs officials made a protocol. The assessment amount will be set additionally.
