The 32-year-old driver of a Mercedes minibus arrived yesterday evening from Poland at the Sheghini checkpoint.
During the inspection, the man stated that he was moving parcels from abroad. Based on the analysis and risk assessment, the border guards decided to carry out an additional inspection. In the course of which, together with customs officials, a batch of undeclared devices will be discovered in the luggage compartment, in a box among personal belongings.
In the interior of the minibus, our compatriot hid phones, headphones and laptops of well-known global manufacturers.
According to this fact, the customs officials made a protocol. The goods, the estimated value of which is about 4.5 million hryvnias, were seized.
