At the Shegina checkpoint, border guards found a wanted Ukrainian citizen. The man was traveling to Poland as a passenger in a minibus.
During the passport control, the database regarding the search by law enforcement agencies was triggered in relation to a 62-year-old resident of the city of Sumy. During the preliminary investigation, it was established that this citizen is wanted by the National Police of Ukraine as part of criminal proceedings under a number of criminal articles related to the threat of murder, robbery, banditry and cruelty to animals.
So far, the border guards have informed the initiator of the order and handed over the wanted person to the competent authorities.
