A batch of electronic cigarettes, which was tried to be illegally imported into Ukraine, was discovered by border guards together with customs officials at the Ukrainian-Polish border.
The minibus was stopped for inspection at the Sheghini checkpoint. The 29-year-old Mercedes driver was following the “red corridor” traffic lane. During the inspection of the car, inspectors found that, in addition to the passengers and their personal belongings, the native of Lviv tried to illegally move goods.
During the inspection of the luggage compartment, the border guard, together with operatives and customs officers, discovered electronic cigarettes in the amount of 2,000 pcs.
A report was drawn up on this fact. According to market prices, the estimated value of the confiscated goods is 800,000 hryvnias.
