A minor motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a car in Pustomyty – police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
The traffic accident occurred on August 25, at about 09:40, on Shevchenko Street in the town of Pustomyty, Lviv district. As previously established by law enforcement, there was a collision between a Volvo XC90 car driven by a 42-year-old resident of one of the villages in the Lviv district and a Musstang MT200 motorcycle operated by a 16-year-old local resident.
As a result of the accident, the minor motorcyclist sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized. Investigators from police department No.3 of the Lviv district police department No.2 have opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 286 (‘Violation of Traffic Safety Rules’) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the article’s sanction is up to three years of restraint of liberty, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
