Police officers in the town of Pustomyty, located in the Lviv district, are verifying information about an alleged assault on a veteran of the war in eastern Ukraine.
The incident came to light after law enforcement officials discovered a social media post stating that a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war had been attacked in Pustomyty.
As of now, no official complaints regarding this incident have been filed with local police departments in the Lviv region.
Officers from Police Department No. 3 of Lviv District Police Department No. 2 have registered the report found online and have begun investigating the situation.
