A car collision in Radekhiv resulted in the injury of a passenger car driver – police are investigating the circumstances.
The traffic accident occurred on November 10, around 10:00 AM at the intersection of the ‘Lviv-Lutsk’ highway and Lvivska Street in the city of Radekhiv, Sheptytskyi District.
According to preliminary findings by law enforcement, the collision involved a Tesla driven by a 28-year-old resident of Lutsk and a VAZ-2114 under the control of a 62-year-old resident of Radekhiv.
As a result of the accident, the VAZ-2114 driver sustained injuries and was hospitalized.
Police investigators from Police Division No.1 of the Sheptytskyi District Police Department initiated a criminal proceeding under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty under this article is restriction of freedom for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
Law enforcement is determining the circumstances of the incident.
