A road traffic accident occurred in Rava-Ruska, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and passenger. The incident happened on 21 April at around 09:30 at the intersection of Lvivska and Mohylnytskoho streets.
According to preliminary data, a Lifan motorcycle, driven by an 18-year-old local resident, collided with a Scania lorry operated by a 33-year-old resident of the Lviv district. As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist and his 16-year-old passenger sustained bodily injuries and were hospitalised.
The Lviv police have opened a criminal case under part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for a penalty of imprisonment for a term of three to eight years. Law enforcement officers continue to establish the circumstances of the event.
