In Rudky, prosecutors identified a contentious contract worth more than 9.5 million UAH, concluded between the Rudky City Council and a private enterprise. The agreement entailed the capital repair of a road in the Sambir District, however, the completion of works lacked the requisite funding in the budget.
Due to these violations, the prosecution appealed to the court to terminate the legal relationship. The parties agreed with the prosecutor’s arguments and voluntarily annulled the contract, avoiding a court decision. As a result, the prosecutors managed to prevent the unlawful use of budget funds.
