
In the village of Blyshchyvody in Lviv district, a man born in 1969 died in a fire in a residential house. This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv region.
The fire in the single-storey residential house broke out on 4 June at 08:56. By the time the fire and rescue units arrived at the scene, the flames had already engulfed household items inside the property and were rapidly spreading to the roof of the house.
Due to heavy smoke, firefighters worked in respiratory and eye protection equipment. During a search inside the house, they found the owner of the property, a man born in 1969, who unfortunately could not be saved.
The fire was contained at 09:21 and fully extinguished at 09:26. Three rescuers and one unit of special equipment from the State Emergency Service were involved in extinguishing the blaze, as well as local fire brigades from the villages of Zibolky and Kulykiv.
The State Emergency Service urges residents to carefully follow fire safety rules at home to prevent similar incidents.
