
In the village of Boyanets in the Sheptytskyi district, a fire broke out at night in a residential building, as a result of which a woman was injured. Rescuers received information about the blaze today, 19 September, at 02:34.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, household items were burning in the house over an area of 60 sq. m, as well as wooden flooring over 30 sq. m and wooden walls also over 30 sq. m.
As a result of the fire, the woman was poisoned by combustion products. The casualty was taken to St Panteleimon Hospital in Lviv.
The fire was brought under control at 03:09 and fully extinguished at 03:22. Firefighters of the 52nd State Fire and Rescue Unit in the town of Velyki Mosty and the local fire brigade from the village of Turyntsi were involved in extinguishing the blaze.
