In the village of Chanyzh in Zolochiv district, a boy born in 2011 drowned while swimming in a lake.
It was reported that at 22:37 on 27 June, the rescue service received a report that, while relaxing by a body of water in the village of Chanyzh, a teenager had disappeared under the water.
A fire and rescue unit went to the scene and, using a rescue boat, carried out a search of the local lake.
At 01:12 on 28 June, the boy’s body was found, brought ashore and handed over to police officers.
