In the village of Chanyzh in the Zolochiv district, a fire broke out in a residential house, during which rescuers prevented the home from being destroyed. The report of the fire reached the Rescue Service “101” on 7 August at 04:10.
According to emergency workers, the residents of the house smelled smoke, immediately left the premises and, before the rescuers arrived, tried to extinguish the fire on their own.
When the firefighters arrived at the scene, the house ceiling structure was on fire over an area of 10 sq. m, as well as household items over an area of 30 sq. m. Thanks to the swift and professional actions of the firefighters, they managed to prevent the further spread of the flames and save the residential building from destruction.
The fire was contained at 05:27 and fully extinguished at 05:48. No one was injured as a result of the incident. The cause of the fire is being established.
