In the village of Hriada in Lviv district, a fire broke out in a residential house. The Rescue Service received the report on 11 September at 08:58.
When the fire and rescue units arrived at the scene, the house was completely engulfed in flames and the fire was threatening neighbouring buildings. The blaze was accompanied by heavy smoke.
Firefighters managed to stop the spread of the fire to nearby structures. At 09:49 the fire was contained, and at 10:33 it was extinguished. As a result, 2 buildings and 2 mopeds were saved.
The operation involved 7 professional firefighters and 2 units of specialised equipment, as well as 3 firefighters and 1 unit of specialised equipment from the local fire brigade of the village of Kulykiv.
According to firefighters, no one was injured in the incident.
