In the village of Yosypovychi, Stryi district, three men died in a house fire. This was reported by the Rescue Service “101”.
The fire broke out on 14 July, and the report of the blaze was received at 06:04. Firefighters from the city of Stryi and members of the local fire brigade from the village of Dashava were dispatched to the scene.
When the firefighters arrived, thick black smoke was coming from the windows of the house. While searching the smoke-filled rooms, they discovered the bodies of three men: the homeowner, born in 1961, as well as men born in 1979 and 1970.
The fire was contained at 06:58, and at 07:16 the burning of household items over an area of 10 sq. m was fully extinguished. Four rescuers and one unit of special equipment from the State Emergency Service were involved in tackling the blaze, as well as two members and one unit of equipment from the local fire brigade.
The causes of the fire and the circumstances of the deaths are being established by specialists.
