In the village of Klitsko in Lviv district, a fire broke out in a single-storey wooden residential house. The report of the fire was received by the Rescue Service “101” on 11 July at 19:41.
Before the arrival of the fire and rescue units, local residents tried to extinguish the flames on their own. They closed the windows and doors of the house, restricting the supply of oxygen to the seat of the fire, which helped to contain the spread of the blaze before the rescuers arrived.
At the scene, firefighters established that the roof of the house was on fire over an area of 17 sq. m. The fire was contained at 20:13 and fully extinguished at 20:41.
Thanks to the actions of the rescuers, it was possible to save from destruction by fire four buildings: two residential houses and two outbuildings. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
The cause of the fire is still being determined by specialists.
