In the village of Korostiv in the Stryi district, a fire broke out in a single-storey building. The Rescue Service was informed about the blaze on 31 July at 13:41.
By the time firefighters arrived, the roof of the building was on fire over an area of about 20 sq. m, and there was a risk that the flames could spread to nearby outbuildings.
Due to heavy smoke, the rescuers worked in respiratory and eye protection equipment. The fire was contained at 14:43 and fully extinguished at 15:08.
No one was injured in the incident. Law enforcement officers are establishing the causes and circumstances of the fire.
