
In the village of Razhniv in Zolochiv district, a 17-year-old girl born in 2009 died in a lake. The incident occurred on 26 June, and at 21:59 police officers informed the rescuers about it.
Resuscitation measures were carried out at the scene, however medics pronounced the victim dead.
Rescuers in Lviv region emphasise the need to follow safety rules on the water. In particular, they urge people not to enter the water in places not equipped for swimming, not to swim while under the influence of alcohol, and not to leave children unattended near water.
The State Emergency Service underlines that water does not forgive carelessness, so you should be as careful as possible while on holiday.
