In the village of Snovychi in the Zolochiv district, a man born in 1969 died in a fire in a residential house. This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv region.
The incident occurred on 31 May at 05:44. The Rescue Service received a report of a fire in a one-storey residential house in Snovychi.
When the fire and rescue units arrived at the scene, the fire had completely engulfed the entrance hall of the house and there was a risk of the flames spreading to other rooms. Due to heavy smoke, the rescuers worked in respiratory and eye protection equipment.
During the search inside the building, the rescuers found the body of the owner of the house, a man born in 1969.
The fire was contained at 06:40 and was completely extinguished at 06:50.
