In the village of Uryzh in the Drohobych district, a fire broke out at night in a single-storey outbuilding. A report of the blaze was received by the Rescue Service at 00:46 on 22 September.
By the time firefighters arrived, the outbuilding was already engulfed in flames across its entire area, and there was a risk that the fire could spread to two nearby residential houses and a tractor.
Rescuers carried out extinguishing operations and cooled the adjacent properties, which made it possible to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading. As a result, firefighters saved the tractor from catching fire and both residential houses.
The fire was contained at 01:41 and fully extinguished at 02:17. A total of 8 rescuers and 2 units of specialised equipment were involved in the firefighting effort.
The cause of the fire is being established by specialists.
