In the village of Yasnyska in Yavoriv district, rescuers recovered the body of a man from a lake who, according to preliminary information, had dived into the water and failed to resurface. A report of the incident was received by the Rescue Service “101” at 00:15 on 01 August.
Staff from the Lviv Central Rescue and Diving Service were brought in to carry out the search. They examined the body of water, located the man’s body and brought it to the surface.
The body was handed over to police officers. The circumstances of the incident are currently being established.
